the history - the discography

It actually started with two groups; one with a drummer and guitarplayer and one with two guitarplayers. Eventually these were brought together, (a lot thanks to one brother in each group). The best musician got to play the bass. In some kind of mysterious way they got to play at a birthday party and had to name the group. After som argumentations they settled for Leo Gudas after a hockey player with a really nice icehockey haircut.

At the time they only had two songs of theire own, both in the skatepunk gegre. To call the show a success would be a kind of an overstatement. Despite that they really got a taste of the good life and went on rehearsing and started to write their own songs. Eventually they were more and more playing pop music instead of punk.

Leo Gudas, (later known as the Leo Gudas) kept excisting for some years and made some lame attempts of sending out demos. After a while the rehearsals got fewer, a lot depending on that two of the members moved outside town, one had kids and one became european champion in TaeKwonDo. You could say that the group is put on hold, but is not dissolved.

One of the moving members started to write his own songs in the new city. He didn´t want this to be mixed up with the greatness of the Leo gudas and decided to call this new project Das Tinnitus, (the weakness for double names is still there...). You could say that the history is repeating itself except that no demos has been sent out yet and that you can do everything by yourself at home on your computer. You could also say that the rehearsals are more frequent, but they are more boring...
